If you’ve been struggling with your identity, feeling unsure of who you are, or questioning your worth… this is for you.

There are moments where your thoughts, your past, or even your current situation can make you forget what God says about you. You may start believing things that don’t align with the truth, and slowly, it begins to affect your confidence and how you see yourself.

In this prayer, I’m asking God to remind you of who you are, restore your confidence, and silence every voice that tries to tell you otherwise. You are not defined by your past, your mistakes, or how you feel in this moment.

Take a moment to pause, breathe, and let this prayer ground you again.

You are who God says you are.

Hey, just take a moment to breathe. Inhale and exhale. Let it out. Again, inhale and release. You don't have to rush this moment. You don't have to fix everything right now. You don't have to carry everything all at once. Just be here. Let your shoulders relax. Let your mind slow down. Let your heart settle. Because right now, this moment is safe. You're safe to rest. You're safe to feel. You're safe to just be. There are so many voices in this world. Voices that tell you who you should be, who you're not, what you lack, what you should have done differently. And if we're honest, some of those voices have gotten loud. Maybe louder than God's voice. Maybe you started believing things about yourself that God never said. Things like I'm not enough, I keep messing up, I should be further by now. I don't recognize myself anymore. Or I've lost who I am. But listen, that is not your identity. That is not your truth. That is not who you are. And right now, we're going to lay all of that down. Every label, every lie, every weight you've been carrying. You don't have to hold it anymore. So God, I come to you right now, covering the person listening to this. You see them fully, you know them completely. You know the thoughts they don't say out loud, the weight they carry quietly, the moments they smile while feeling broken inside. And God, I ask that you meet them right here. Not when they're stronger, not when they have it all together, but right now, exactly as they are. Lord, begin to quiet every voice that is not from you, every voice of comparison, every voice of shame, every voice of doubt. Let it fade, and in its place, let your truth rise softly, gently, clearly. God remind them they are chosen, not overlooked, not passed by, not second option. Chosen. Before they got it right, chosen before they figured it out, chosen before they became who they're still trying to be. You choose them. Remind them that they are loved, not based on performance, not based on how well they hold it together, not based on how perfect they appear, but deeply, fully, unconditionally loved, even in their confusion, even in their weakness, even in the parts of themselves they still struggle to accept. You still love them. God remind them that they are worthy, not because they earned it, not because they proved something, but because you said so. Because you created them with intention, because you formed them with care, because they matter to you. Let that sink in. You matter. God, I pray that right now something begins to shift inside of them. Not pressure, not scribing, but a quiet shift. Where they stop trying to become what the world expects and start leaning into who you already said they are. They are not their past. They are not their mistakes. They are not the worst thing they've done. They are not the version of themselves they regret. That is not your identity. Their identity is in you. They are fearfully and wonderfully made. They are seen. They are known. They are held. Even now. God, I ask that you help them see themselves differently. When they look in the mirror, don't let them only see flaws. Let them see value. Let them see purpose. Let them see someone who is still growing, still becoming, still healing. Let them see someone you haven't given up on because you haven't. You're not disappointed in them. You're not standing at a distance. You're not waiting for them to fix everything because you come close. You're already here. Right beside them. Right with them. Right in this moment. God wrap them in your presence. Let them feel peace where they're used to be anxiety. Let them feel calm where they're used to be overthinking. Let them feel truth where they're used to be confusion. And even if they don't fully believe it yet, even if part of them is still unsure, let this be the moment they begin to open their heart to it just a little. Just enough to let light in. You are not lost, even if you feel like it, and even if you don't know what's next. God still knows where you are. You are not broken beyond repair. God is still healing you, still restoring you, still working on you. You are not forgotten. God hasn't overlooked you. He hasn't skipped you. He hasn't left you behind. You are still his. And that hasn't changed. Who God says you are, it still stands. Even after everything, the mistakes, the doubt, and after the moments you question yourself. His truth didn't change. So right now, just rest in that. You don't have to force it and you don't have to fully understand it. Just rest. God, seal this moment in their heart. Let this not just be something they hear, but something they begin to believe day by day, little by little. And when the negative thoughts try to come back, remind them of this moment. Remind them of your truth. Remind them of who they are. They are yours, they are loved, they are chosen, they are still becoming.
